A young dragon (Lophognathus sp.), metallic snake-eyed skink (Cryptoblepharus metallicus), and a palemouth dragonfly (Brachydiplax denticauda) find suitable perches to forage from on the Fogg Dam wall. See if you can spot them all.
The dragonfly was very interested in fluttering pierid butterflies, and the dragon eyed other dragonflies in flight waiting for the opportune moment. Meanwhile the skink actively avoided and snatched up dozens of strobe ants (Opisthopsis sp., arguably the cutest ant in NT — and most impossible to take a photograph of), and forest kingfishers (Todiramphus macleayii) squabbled just a few meters above the scene.
