A massive Komodo dragon snuggles on the beach at sunset on Komodo island, creating ripples of its textured scales in the sand. Through my Komodo shots, it’s very difficult to illustrate just how gigantic these lizards are. I remember peering down from the dock with my friends to marvel at the sheer size and captivating definition on this male Komodo’s head. We were fortunate to see this individual in slumber every evening we returned from our hikes through the island.
