Sundown on Rinca island. After admiring the view we walked back down the hilly savannah as several dragons made their way up to their burrows. Often Komodos will just stick their heads in a concealed area to sleep while leaving their bodies exposed. In the dim light their large black figures were difficult to pick out, and as I focused on one dragon coming up the savannah another already lay dormant right below me.
