Blue-tongued Skink

Today I fly to the Top End of the Northern Territory of Australia, where I will begin my work on deimatic displays of the frilled dragon (Chlamydosaurus kingii). I am unsure of internet bandwidth, but hopefully I will be able to continue posting. If not, in a few months I will have a lot of material!

I’ve loved my time so far with the Lizard Lab, and here is one of the blue-tongued skinks (Tiliqua scincoides) they have for studying the role of ultraviolet-reflective pigments in their blue tongues + experiments on lizard cognition and learning!
