A backlit frilly with three bee stingers on her palate and one on her tongue. Green tree ants (Oecophylla smaragdina) and termites likely make up the greatest portion of their diet (in my area), but as highly visual predators frillies will leap down from the eucalypts to forage on a variety of small prey, even the occasional lizard or snake. After I dislodged the barbed stingers the frilly kept on insisting that I examine her yellow mouth, as they always do.
