The embrace of an eastern grey kangaroo (Macropus giganteus). This older joey (likely male) stands on his tip toes to play fight with his mother, practicing his grapple technique for when he eventually fights for dominance over other males. A single large male in the mob stood over 1.5 meters tall with noticeably enlarged pectoral muscles, so this young fella has a long way to go.
