Since I was little I’ve always been captivated by the eyes of green anoles. They seem so expressive, gauging your movements cautiously while stealthily moving around. Like chameleons they can move their eyes independently. From a head on perspective it’s neat to watch how their turquoise-tinted eyes move around to focus on you. This male had some battle scars likely from fighting with another male and was moving quietly in a bush to evade me.
